California, USA and 5320 District Boundries

Sunny California, the third largest state, is larger than Great Britain, Japan, Italy, or Norway. It is approximately 800 miles long and varies from 150 to 250 miles in width. More than 30 million people, one eighth of the United States population, live in California. With a moderate climate influenced by the Pacific Ocean, the state topography varying from flat agricultural lands to mountains over 14,000 feet high.
District 5320 is one of 15 Rotary districts located in California.

District 5320 is in Southern California. It includes all of Orange County and part of Los Angeles County (from Long Beach south to San Clemente and east to Whittier).

Many agricultural products are grown here for domestic use and export. The district includes:

 University of California Irvine
 Chapman University
 California State Universities at Fullerton and Long Beach
 SOKA University-Aliso Viejo Viejo
 Seven Community Colleges

Bordered by the Pacific Ocean and its beautiful sunny beaches on the west and only an hour and a half drive to the San Bernardino mountains, District 5320 provides many opportunities for vacation , study, and recreation.
