Chile trip offered through Rotary

The Rotary Clubs of District 5320 are seeking qualified candidates for the 2008 Group Study Exchange with District 4320 in Northern Chile, from April 19 to May 17, 2008. The candidates must live or work in Rotary District 5320 (Orange and southeast Los Angeles Counties).
The team members must also be business or professional persons, between the ages of 25 and 40, who are well established in his or her profession and not related to a Rotarian.
Prior to the trip, the team will meet regularly to study Rotary information and Chile customs and culture. Spanish language lessons will also be provided. The Rotary Foundation provides for round-trip airfare between Los Angeles and Chile while host Rotary clubs provide for meals, lodging, vocational visits and group travel within their district.
Team member candidates must be sponsored by one of the 49 clubs in District 5320. The deadline to submit team member applications is Wednesday, Oct. 31. The Rotary International Foundation pays for the airfare and the local Rotary clubs host the team members in their homes.
